Job description

A safety representative will conduct audits, perform infield training, and contribute to company policies and procedures. A Safety Representative will be required to travel to all areas that ArborWorks covers. They will meet with crews in the morning to take part in tailboards and deliver safety messages. They will be expected to fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner. They assist in incident investigations and fill out corresponding reports. Must have a proven track record of working safely, and knowledge of ANSI standards, OSHA, and customer regulations.

Required Certifications

  • Completed and signed ground person training
  • Completed and signed climber training
  • Completed annual aerial rescue training
  • Completed tree feller training
  • Completed LCCP test
  • Completed LCQP book
  • CPR and first aid certification. (Within 90 days of hire date)
  • Completed foreperson test with a score of at least 70%
  • Class C Driver’s license
  • Meets all requirements to drive company vehicles
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
  • 2 years performing work at a foreperson classification
  • Bucket operator proficient

Preferred Certifications

  • CTSP and OSHA 10 or 30
  • ISA Certification
  • Commercial driver’s license with a class A or B license
